However, as a lash artist you should be aware that lash retention is complex and is impacted by several other factors beyond adhesive quality. These include application technique and factors beyond your control such as environmental conditions and client after care.  Below are some tips to ensure a high retention.

Preparation:

1. Client Consultation: Assess natural lash health and discuss desired look to determine appropriate extension weight and curl.
2. Thorough Cleansing: Remove all traces of makeup, oil, and debris with a lash-safe cleanser. Dry lashes completely.
3. Prime Lashes: Apply a thin layer of lash primer to enhance adhesive bonding and reduce slippage.

Application:

1. Fresh Adhesive: Shake vigorously and discard the first drop. Refresh your glue dot every 10 minutes or as it becomes stringy.
2. Isolate: Carefully isolate a single natural lash for each extension.
3. Proper Placement: Attach the extension 1mm from the natural lash root, avoiding the eyelid.
4. Adhesive Amount: Use a thin, even coat of adhesive for a secure bond. Avoid excess.
5. Cure Time: Allow adhesive to dry completely before moving to the next lash.

Environment & Aftercare:

Humidity & Temperature Control:

• Use a hygrometer to monitor humidity levels and maintain them within the optimal range for your selected Orbe adhesive.
• Use a humidifier or dehumidifier as needed to adjust humidity levels.
• Maintain a moderate temperature for ideal adhesive curing.

Glue Dot Best Practices:

• Dispense a new glue dot onto your jade stone or glue palette every 15-20 minutes.
• Replace the glue dot if it becomes too thick or stringy.
• Avoid dipping the extension directly into the nozzle to prevent contamination.

Client Education: Provide thorough aftercare instructions, emphasising gentle cleansing with lash-safe products and avoiding oil-based products.

• Choose high-quality extensions that are easy to remove from the strip and do not leave residue.

• Unopened adhesive expires in 6 months

Storage:

• Store adhesive in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight and moisture.
• Keep away from Children
• Bonds immediately when comes in contact with humidity (contains Cyanoacrylate)

• Once opened use within 4 weeks
